About the item

The medal comes in purpose made wooden box, with the description on the box as shown in the photo of above.

The front of the medal has the face of Mandela as per the photo and the back has the inscription: "Walk through the open door. take a place at the negotiating table..." see the photo

The medal comes with a Mint of Norway certificate with the unit number on it.the certificate has a write up on de Klerk and his opening of Parliament speech of 1990.

According to a big retail outlet, there has been huge demand for this particular medal and it is currently selling at R35 000, with an increase in price still due soon.
