| DESCRIPTION | A lovely still - life painting of flowers in a vase and books by well - known South African artist and art teacher Reg Turvey. It is done on artist's board (treated canvass on hardboard) and is framed. The artist signed this work at bottom right and has not dated it. It probably dates from the 1970s and has recently been re - framed in a quality wide faux antique frame. The painting is of medium to large size and measures 67 x 57 cm and the artwork alone measures 52 x 42 cm. See the 4 images which follow for more detail. |
