All our Smart products communicate via Wifi 2.4Ghz on the Tuya platform. However, several products (as listed below) offer an additional switching method via a long range 433Mhz remote control with 4 channels. This remote is Fixed code type 1527 and will most likely not work with your gate and doors which are learning or rolling code type remotes.The optional 4Channel 433Mhz 'Long Range Remote' control offers you the additional option to control up to four switches in locations where no WiFi signal is present. The 433Mhz has a range of 1000m/ 1Km LOS (line of sight) with the antenna fully extended which is much further than WiFi. Vegetation and obstacles such as walls or metal enclosures will adversely affect the range.
These products all have 3 methods of switching. You can use anyone or all three.

NOTE: - You need only purchase the remote once for every 4 switches required.
- Mount the switch in a plastic waterproof housing [click here] is preferred. (a steel cabinet for example will reduce the range)
- Your standard garage door and gate remotes are most likely 'rolling code' remotes and are NOT compatible with our 433Mhz switches.

- Press the button on the remote (A, B, C or D) you wish to pair fast 4 times.
- The switch will now be paired to the remote as 'latching mode'. One click = ON another click =OFF.
- You can now also connect the switch to the Smart Life via your cell Phone as per above video.
- Repeat using other buttons to pair additional switches as required.
- To remove all remote programming fast push the relevant button 8 times.
