Product OverviewThe HIN202ECBNZ is a ±15kV ESD-protected +5V powered RS-232Transmitter/Receiver. The HIN202E family of RS-232 transmitters/receiversinterface circuits meet all EIA high-speed RS-232E and V.28 specifications andare particularly suited for those applications where ±12V is not available. Aredesigned transmitter circuit improves data rate and slew rate, which makesthis suitable for ISDN and high speed modems. The transmitter outputs andreceiver inputs are protected to ±15kV ESD (Electrostatic Discharge). Theyrequire a single +5V power supply and feature onboard charge pump voltageconverters which generate +10 and -10V supplies from the 5V supply.
