Replacement 10 inch Sediment and Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Water Filters

These double filter set is meant for both the double counter top units as well as the pre stage filters in the under counter Ultra violet light system, and includes both a 10 inch 5 Micron Sediment Filter and a 10 inch Granulated activate carbon (GAC) filter.

5 MICRON SEDIMENT FILTER

- The 5 micron sediment filter serves to remove visible dirt particles such as mud, rust, sand, and any other large particles from the water.

GRANULATED ACTIVE CARBON (GAC) FILTER

- Granular Active Carbon is carbon that has been treated with oxygen to make it porous, but it has also been broken up into granules to further increase the   surface area for chemical bondage to occur. The water passes through the GAC filter, allowing the organic materials and chlorine to effectively bond with the carbon molecules, thus removing these from the water.
