Our membership covers the globe. Administration is based in New Zealand where we are a registered charity (number CC25203) as well as being an Incorporated Society (number 2055431). Our society is focused towards the preservation of the history of Rhodesia. To this end we have a number of museum displays in New Zealand to which profits from sales such as this are directed. These jerseys are Union brand, custom made in New Zealand in short or long sleeve. We have only pictured the short sleeve version.

These jerseys are not made in Asia.

The material is a poly /cotton mix and some shrinkage is to be expected, please take account of this when ordering.

We have sold these jerseys around the world and to date we have received extreemely favourable feedback regarding the quality and likeness to the original.

International rugby began for Rhodesia in 1898 when a side toured South Africa.

In the early 1900's the Green and White hooped jersey was introduced. It was in this jersey in 1949 that John Morkel's Rhodesian team defeated Fred Allen's All Blacks in Bulawayo 10 - 8 and then drew in Salisbury 3 -3.

It was not until the late 1970's that the Rhodesian sports emblem of the Lion over the Tusk was sewn onto the jersey, the first time that any insignia other than player numbers was worn.

Rhodesia had a proud history on the rugby field from 1890 to 1980. Buy one of these jerseys and be part of that heritage.
