Born in Zambia in 1948, and presently resides in Pretoria, South Africa.

Louise is mainly self-taught and works in oils, concentrating on typical South African scenery.

She has participated in many group exhibitions around South Africa and was a member of 'Artist's Market' in Johannesburg for over 25 years, as well as 'Art in the Park' in Pietermaritzburg for over 26 years. Since 2005, she has been working from home and supplying various art galleries.

Art collectors from England, Germany, The United States, Japan, Thailand and Australia have acquired Louise's works over many years and she is also listed in The Directory of South African Painters and Sculptors.

"We are created with something in each of us that resonates with the beauty of nature and what better way to stimulate that feeling, than to have a painting on the wall - fondly reminding us of a particular time and place that created that memory! When I work on a painting, I believe that people will see and feel the beauty of our Creator in the artwork".
