Republic of South Africa : Partial Afrikaans & English Non-Proof Set of 1965

These sets were not issued as “mint packs” by the SA Mint. The set consist of the following: Silver R1 (English), 50c (Afrikaans), 20c (both languages), 10c (both languages), 5c (both languages) and 2c (both languages).

The English R1 in non-proof condition is a scarce coin with only 2 341 struck. There are less of these coins graded by the NGC than the very rare Afrikaans 1965 R1 in proof condition.
