The rarest and scarcest 2.5 Shillings of them all,and in the highest grade I have personally ever seen for sale ...AU58!!!

This is the 3rd highest graded 1893 2.5 Shillings at PCGS and the only one in AU58,only 2 have graded higher in MS61 and MS63.

NGC has graded 3 coin higher,2 in MS61 and 1 in MS63.In total only 5 coins between NGC and PCGS have graded higher,all in UNC and more than likely will never come up for sale.

This coin is a magnificent specimen with superb eye-appeal.Absolutely no obvious signs of wear ,the reverse is  fully lustrous with flashy iridescent golden toning(difficult to capture in the photographs but very impressive in the hand when flashed around in the light ) and the obverse a lighter golden-grey with much lustre and practically as struck details.
