In Resident Evil: Afterlife, after losing her superhuman powers, Alice searches for other survivors with Claire Redfield and a group of survivors trapped in a Los Angeles prison. They learn of a supposedly safe haven called Arcadia, but it turns out to be a deadly trap set by the Umbrella Corporation and its chief, Albert Wesker. Alice and the survivors must fight their way out of Los Angeles to reach their true destination in Alaska, where they plan to confront Wesker and the Umbrella Corporation.
