The game plays as an on-rails arcade shooter, leaving you to handle your weapons and deal with the fast-paced action of the zombies and mutated monsters around you. Darkside Chronicles has a shaky, handicam feeling to it, and combined with the sound effects, soundtrack, plethora of weapons and detailed graphics, you'll get a feel of what it's like to be hunted by these monsters plagued by the virus.

This game works extremely well as a co-operative, two-player experience. The on-rails shooters make the most enjoyable point-and-click game, which utilises the Wiimote controls perfectly. A neat feature of this game is the weapon configuration, and the ability to pause the game to best set up the next part.
