Common Name: Resurrection Plant

Myrothamnus flabellifolius or Resurrection plant as it is commonly known is an erect shrublet that grows to 50cm tall. It has paired folded leaves & from spring to summer it has inconspicuous male & female flowers on different plants. In droughts the whole plant dries out, but revives within hours of rain.
