Glass Artist Ben Moreau Lives In Naples, Maine, USA With His Wife Heather And Son Gabriel.
He Has A Home Based Glass Studio In His Garage Where He Makes His Beautiful Works Of Art.
Ben First Started Working With Glass In 2003 While Attending The University Of Maine.
He Quickly Became Passionate About Manipulating Molten Glass And Continues To Grow That Passion With A Hope Of Touching Many Parts Of The World With His Work.
A Major Focus Of Ben's Work Has Been Based Around The Reticello Design, A Technique Originally Created In Murano, Italy In The 16th Century.
When Asked Why This Design Has Been Incorporated Into So Much Of His Work Ben Explains "Something About The Design Is Very Attractive To Me, At Times It Seems So Simple, But Yet There Are Endless Possibilities Of Pattern, Depth And Different Ways To Manipulate The Glass To Change The Appearance Of The Final Product, Sometimes So Much That You Wouldn't Even Recognize The Use Of The Reticello Technique."
As Well As Being A Glass Artist Ben Is Also A Full Time Social Worker Who Dedicates His Days To Helping People In His Community. Ben Loves This Work And Hopes To Strike A Balance That Allows Him To Continue To Grow His Love Of Glass And Passion For Helping Others.
