Retro Gentleman's grooming set of yesteryear.

This very collectable Retro Gentleman's grooming set, although at least about 60 years old, is in absolutely perfect condition.  Almost as if it had never have been used, and it propably was not !   The casing reads "Real Hide - Made in England".  In the lid of this set is a nail file, small scissors and a chromium plated mirror.  Below that is placed a Perpex see-through comb which is inscribed "Two Tix - Nylon Made in England".  On the left and right are two Perspex brushes one for the hair and the other for brushing clothing I would imagine. In the centre the items are either chromium plate or imitation tortoise shell.  There are two rounded containers each with unscrewable lids and a hole in the lid to allow air in,  the one is empty and other holds a pure bristle shaving brush.  The long chromium container closest to the zip also has little holes on the sides and I would imagine should hold a rolled up face cloth.

In the centre of these chromium items are the tortoise shell items which are two small screw-top round containers, one is empty and the other contains a styptic pencil (to stem the blood if cut whilst shaving) and below that is an oblong container which holds the original Gillette unscrewable shaver and handle, and a packet of Blue Gillette blades. The case on the outside has the initials "I.M." inscribed. An item as old as this and in such perfect condition is indeed a rare find for the avid Retro collecter or of course it would make a proud display in any gentleman's bathroom !
