Parking sensor system are electronic guidance and warning system that assist with safe reversing and also parking with ease and confidence.

Parking sensor systems utilise ultrasonic technology. The sensors sense the proximity of an object up to 1.2M away from the rear of the vehicle and compute the exact position of the object.

Slow beeps are sounded when within the 1.2 to 0.9 meter zone and rapid beeps when within 0.9 to 0.45 metre zone. When within less than half a meter (0.45m) of the object the audible warning sounds constantly indicating the need to move with extreme caution.

The plastic bumper sensors can be colour matched to the bumper by spray painting 2 to 3 very light coats to the sensor surface
