9(8+1) Ports 4K HDMI Video Switch with IR, Serial, Cascade Port
VKSM-S1091, 4K HDMI Switch, is a 9 (8+1) Ports 4K HDMI Switch with IR remote and serial control, and allows users to switch between 9 HDMI sources and then delivers the selected video stream to one HDMI output device (Monitor/ Projector). Dedicated HDMI cascade port enables HDMI switches cascading for video source expanding that means to turn the unit into a 16/24/32 ports HDMI Switch via Daisy-Chain feature. You can select the desired input source (up to 32 Max.) via the IR remote control or push buttons located on the switch.
The "Auto-switching / input auto detecting" function always routes the last connecting stream (as first priority) to the output. Audio embedder function embeds audio from a 3.5-mm source to an HDMI signal which allows users to diversely incorporate the audio signal for more informative contents in video postproduction that are beneficial for the conference call, meeting room or show room application.
EDID Auto Learning and EDID Copy functions allow the 4K HDMI Switch either to read the necessary EDID information from the switch unit itself or to copy EDID from the EDID compliant monitor, which ensures that every video source is displayed at the optimal resolution and format without any compatibility issue.
VKSM-S1091 4K HDMI Switch supports various ways of control that can be done thru front-panel buttons, RS-232 serial, and IR remote control. HDMI Switch RS-232 serial control with built-in RJ-11 serial interface for DB9 serial to RJ11 cable provides users easy and friendly operation. There is IR sensor window at the front panel designed with great aesthetic and efficiency to quickly and accurately control this unit. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 3 meters IR extension cable can be purchased separately).
