Dear Customer, Please note:
- If you order a full 5mtr roll, there will be 4 wires attached to one end of the strip for your ease of use.
- If you order less than 5 mtr, the strip will be cut from a roll, and there will not be 4 wires attached to the end
To use the led strip you need to have wires attached to the end, your options are as follows:
A) Buy a solderless connector (listed on my bidorbuy) suitable for quick installation, provided there is not much movement and there is no moisture present.
B) Solder the wires on yourself for a more long lasting permanent joint if you are capable.
C) Allow me to solder wires to strip of any length you require
Should you require specific lengths of strip and wire soldered together, I will gladly do this for you to make your life easy.
RGB Non waterproof strip for inside undercover use, please add: R22 per solder, R3 per plastic cover and R16 per meter of 4 strand RGB wire.
RGB Waterproof strip for outside use and wet conditions please add: R4 to the above prices for clear marine silicon to be inserted inside the covered solder joint.
4 Strand RGB wire colours will be: Red, Green, Blue & Black

A) Non Waterproof Led Strip = IP20 (Definition: Protection from objects 12.5mm in size such as fingers and no protection against water)
B) Waterproof Led Strip= IP65 (Definition: Protection from Dust & Water projected by a nozzle (6.3mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects.Test duration:at least 3 minutes. Water volume:12.5 litres per minute. Pressure:30 kN/m² at distance of 3m)

What does RGB Mean? It means that in each one of these led chips there are 3 colours Red, Green & Blue = RGB. If you mix these colours using the remote control and controller, you can get colours like: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink, Orange and other different shades.
