THIS STAMP HAS BEEN DENOTED AS RARE BY THE RHODESIAN STUDY CIRCLE. IT WAS SOLD IN THE SPINK "ALAN URIA COLLECTION" IN 2012 (LOT 358) AND ACHIEVED A SELLING PRICE OF 700 POUNDS PLUS 20% COMMISSION. MORE RECENTLY ANOTHER SIMILAR STAMP WAS SOLD FOR 800 POUNDS PLUS 20% IN THE SPINK "ANDREW WILSON COLLECTION" IN JANUARY 2023.
IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THIS STAMP CONTAINS A FEW THINS ON THE REVERSE THAT CAN BE SEEN ON THE 2ND SCAN. HOWEVER, THESE THINS DO NOT AFFECT THE FRONT OF THE STAMP AND DO NOT DETRACT FROM ITS RARITY.
