Here on auction we have a "strange" Rhodesia tie in a maroon colour - I am unsure from which unit/ govt dept or whom this tie originates but it was sourced together with other military items from an ex- Rhodesian service member.

Please see the pics for further detail.  The tie is marked at the rear with a tag which reads "Shaggy dog ties hand tailored in Rhodesia". A great period piece!

The tie is in great condition and has not damage or marks what-so-ever!
