This is the Meritorious Conduct Medal and General Service medal, as well as the certificate for the MCM and letters to congratulate him from the President's office. 

The Meritorious Conduct Medal ( MCM ) was awarded to Sgt E.A. Bower for brave and gallant conduct over and above the call of duty in a non-combatant capacity whilst attached to the Selous Scouts. 

There were only 94 MCM's awarded of which 4 went to members of the Selous scouts.
