Mukumbura Banner - C Troop Support Unit 1975 - issued unofficially to units serving in the Mukumbura area by the District Office who had declared Mukumbura as a :Principality. Members included the Portuguese army,South African Police, BSAPolice,Support Unit,Internal Affairs and the Rhodesian Army. It was a light hearted gesture at creating comradere amoungst the different serving units in the area. The meeting place was always the "Surf "Club which was a large disused water tank turned into a pub!.This banner is small and is only 31 cm in length but absolutely original.
