Offered on this auction is this Rhodesian Metal & Enamel Commemorative ARM BADGE, or FLASH.
This badge is a lovely example of a 1980 regimental badge from the Rhodesian African Rifles.
 
This badge was produced in 1980, as part of an excellent quality series of commemorative Rhodesian flashes made after the units were disbanded.
 
This piece of Rhodesian military history has a metal back, with an enamel finish and acrylic dome on the front, and three fastening spikes on the reverse.
It is in the same style as the South African Unit issues of the period, and has the same size dimensions.
This badge measures 2" / 5cm across and 2 ¼” / 6cm long.
The commemorative flashes will be clearly identified as such.
 
This example is in Near Mint Factory Condition, and all three rear spikes are still intact (See photos).
