Here we have on auction a rather unique piece - what I believe to be an original period item from Rhodesia. Although this specific cut/ design/ tailoring seems unique and different to other period Rhod bush-hats which I have seen before or know-of.

On auction here is a period item - a Rhodesian camo bush-hat with a manufacturers tag and in great overall condition dispite the obvious age an slight fading, not damage as such.

I have consulted widely and the one suggestion that I received from a "D-sqn" veteran is that this is one of the bush-hats made for the SA-booitjies by a Durban based company using Rhod cloth during the time that SA sent troops to serve up north.

This bush-hat may also be unit locally made custom (by a unit tailor) ....... but then why the Label???
