Rhodesian Bush War (1964-1979): Mine Field Sign


Very rare, original sign attached to the perimeter fence of a cordon sanitaire to warn locals of the danger of crossing the fence.   Chenjera Chimbambaira translates from the indigenous vernacular, Shona, to Beware Grenade.
