Rhodesian camouflage shirt with matching trousers that belonged to a member of the Rhodesian Regular (PF or permanent force) army.
The shirt still has the "Paramount" label present and is in very good condition with 1 button missing. The owner obviously took great pride in he's appearance as this shirt has been professionally tailored to fit and taper down from the shoulders. Shirt has the original "Army" tab on the chest and has the rare "Armourers" qualification badge still sewn on the right hand sleeve above the now removed sergeants stripes. The sleeves have also been professionally shortened. This shirt measures 54 cm across the chest and 52 cm across the back when measured from armpit to armpit.
The trousers have also been tailored with permanent creases sewn in running down the legs, what we called "gippo nate" in the SADF, ("gippo" being slang for faking it and "nate" meaning seams or creases). These trouser have seen some use with a tear above the right knee and extensive wear and a field repair to the reinforcing section of the butt, check out the pics. Some buttons are missing and pockets show signs of wear from extended use. The waist circumference is 84 cm and the length of the legs measured from the crotch to the end of the leg is 76cm.
Please inspect the pics carefully to ascertain and confirm condition of the shirt and trousers as these are the exact item the winner will receive. Ask, if you have any questions.
