Rhodesian Light Infantry 'Lovers - 3 Commando' Beer Tankard (31 October 1980)

 

This original, Rhodesian beer tankard commemorating the disbandment of the 'Rhodesian Light Infantry' on the 31st of October 1980, features the words 'THE LAST DAY OF THE LOVERS' and the adopted emblem of '3 Commando' with a banana and their nickname 'LOVERS'. It's in excellent condition and is stamped on the base 'NORBEL' 'Made in Zimbabwe'. It stands 15cm high, with a base diameter of 10,5cm.
