RHODESIANA: Interesting lot of collectables from old RHODESIA (Coins, Banknotes etc.)
This interesting lot consists of 3 plaques and a collection of coins and banknotes of Rhodesia.
The larger of the three plaques is a map showing military flashes of Rhodesia made of pure copper and mounted on a dark wooden frame. On the back it shows the maker being Dennis Thomson of Salisbury and that it was number 328 of a numbered collector’s item. The second one reads “Asesabi Lutho” and “The Rhodesian Armoured Car Regiment”. The third one shows the Coat of Arms of Rhodesia.
The coin items consist of a mounted display of old Rhodesian coins plus a type set not mounted. There is also a dozen or so Southern Rhodesian Pennies from the 1930s and early 1940s on a piece of string showing how they worn by natives in the old days.
Lastly there is a complete type set of Salisbury banknotes from the 1970s from the One Dollar up to the Ten Dollar. The $10 is the issue of 1972 and catalogues at nearly R800.00 in VF condition but this one is probably better at VF +
You are bidding on the whole collection as per the following picture.
Because of the weight, registered postage will be R50.
Foreign bidders can only bid if I can send the collection to a friend of theirs in South Africa. (It would be too expensive to send overseas)
I offer a 100% 7-day money back guarantee.
