Richard Nixon Leaders

Profiles of and Reminiscences About Men Who Have Shaped the Modern World

Hardcover

First Edition 1982

Sidgwick & Jackson Publishers London

Richard Nixon knew all the important world leaders of the post WWII era (except Stalin). His opinions and anecdotes about each are very interesting reading. He also gives a good summation of what makes a strong leader. If you are interested in world events from the late 40's into the 70's this is an excellent read.

Richard Milhous Nixon, the 37th president of the United States, was born on January 9, 1913 in Yorba Linda, California. First elected to public office in 1946 representing Californias 12th congressional district, Nixon was elected to the US Senate in 1950 and two years later won the first of two terms as vice president of the United States. Winning the presidency in 1968, he was re-elected in 1972 in one of the largest victories in U.S. history. One of Americas most prolific former presidents, Nixons bestselling books influenced the conduct of American foreign policy long after he left the White House.
