Richard Scott, a renowned British artist, is currently residing in Cape Town, South Africa. He embarked on his artistic career in 2001 at Hout Bay Gallery, where he achieved significant success with 25 artworks selling within a span of six weeks. Since then, Scott has created over 5000 artworks, including 3500 paintings, 1000 prints, and 2500 sketches.
Scott is known for his prolific use of acrylic on canvas, as well as his expertise in printmaking, sketching, and sculpture. He also explores other mediums such as ceramics and spray paint in his artistic practice.
Throughout his career, Scott has showcased his work in 109 exhibitions worldwide, including 29 solo exhibitions. These exhibitions have taken place in various countries, including South Africa, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, and the United States.
