Richard Scott's paintings have increased tremendously in value in the last few years.  His paintings are now a feature of Leisure Hotels in Cape Town, hanging next to Paul du Toit's paintings.

75% of his paintings have been sold abroad and he is focussing on the European market, which will mean less paintings for the South African market.  He is buying his earlier paintings himself.

His paintings are now selling for record prices on national and international recognised auctions.  Recently two of his paintings sold for double it's estimates at the Stephan Welz auction in Cape Town, selling for R 44 800 each.
