Ricoh’s AF-28 compact camera is designed to make taking great photos easy. With autofocus and auto flash, the AF-28 frees you to capture photo opportunities the moment they appear. And with red-eye reduction and daylight fill-in flash modes, it lets you avoid hazards that commonly mar the other guy’s snapshots. It even offers a panorama mode-for-views that make you look especially good.
Autofocus
Catch shots as they come without slowing down to adjust the focus. The AF-28’s active system automatically keeps your subject sharp and clear.
Viewfinder diopter adjustment
Adjust the focus of the viewfinder by ±1. This allows a more comfortable alignment for those who wear eyeglasses.
Optional databack
Take the guesswork out of identifying when a particular shot was taken. This feature records the day and time directly onto the film.
Red-eye reduction
Minimize the annoying ‘red-eye’ effect in this mode. The camera fires a gentle light just before the main flash to give your subjects eye a chance to adjust.
Daylight fill-in flash
Avoid losing your subject in a shadow when there is a strong light in the background. In this mode, the AF-28 fires a fill-in flash to balance the illumination.
Panorama mode
Capture landscapes and skylines in all their glory with an extra wide frame. You can switch back and forth between normal and panorama modes in the middle of a roll of film.
Self-timer
Set the self-timer and you have 10 seconds to get into the frame. Great for group pictures.
LCD panel
Check the current frame number, flash and mode status at a glance.
Power source
Pick up standard ‘AA’ size batteries virtually anywhere. Especially camera batteries are not required.
Auto flash
Snap away without giving a thought to whether there is enough light. The AF-28 automatically measures available light and activates the flash when needed.
