Offered for sale is a collectible Midcentury Modern Ridgway UK ceramic side plate from the Homemaker series designed by Enid Seeney in the 1950's and made in Stoke on Trent England. A side plate and breakfast plate from this series of flatware are listed separately together with two breakfast bowls. The side plate is the smaller of the two plates of course. Please refer to last picture for a size comparison.

 

Ridgway   Homemaker series breakfast sets were designed Enid Seeney in 1956 and retailed through Woolworths stores  in the UK from 1957 onwards to the mid 1960's. This is an earthenware item with transfer printed decoration. The  decorative motif features "ultra modern" home furnishings and utensils for dining/kitchens.

 

Postage is R75 via Sapo or R110 for courier delivery. Collection is welcome in Emmerantia Jhb
