This old Ring was found on the Beach near Old Woman's River close to Fish River Mouth. It appears to have a Jeweler's Mark or Hallmark visible in the photo. Weight is below a gram as it does not register on my electronic scale. I have not had it tested at a Jeweler so am not sure if its brass, gold, silver or other metal. Over the years there have been a number of Shipwrecks in the area and during the Settler Wars there was a British Encampment here. Just one of those enigmas on this coast.
