Published by William Heinemann in 1919, the book contains 50 tipped in colour plates, by Arthur Rackham, on heavy green card stock with captioned tissue guards. There is quite a bit of spotting on the title page but the inside pages, which are printed on rather coarse thick paper are clean. The pages appear to to be a very pale grey colour. The hardback is scuffed and the corners are damaged with the cloth covering frayed.
The book is actually worth double the starting price just for the brilliant illustrations.
