| Melvin Simmers was a very accomplished artist and art lecturer at the Michaelis School of Art (UCT) and a newspaper art critic. He was also a ballet dancer and had a great interest in the performing arts. His artworks have shown a steady (and recent dramatic) increase in value. This art work is beautifully executed and is AN EXCELLENT PIECE OF INVESTMENT ART. There is much information on the artist on the internet on sites such as Artprice.com and those of the top South African art auction sites. |
