The spine is sunned and wrinkled or else it would be fine or nearly so. They have bright, clear pages (some unopened) profusely illustrated with wood engravings (many full page) and between the six books one hundred and five, full page, tissue guarded, steel engravings that appear to be hand colored. The beveled boards are covered in crimson cloth with black & gilt embossed titles front and spine. The designs on the boards (dogs, figure, etc.) in gilt and black are as new those on the spine are dulled. It was "printed for subscribers from the plates of the original edition" and is undated. It has to be after 1858 and WorldCat has it as 1892.
The plates alone is worth much more see
