Robert W Henson Original (Dated 1955)

On offer this beautifully painted oil on board of a landscape by South African artist, Robert W Henson Oil, signed in the bottom right corner. Anybody who has done their research will see that art by Henson sells for substantial prices when it does come onto the open market. It is a large painting, measuring 69x55cm (with frame) and 53x44cm (painting only). This painting was done in 1955 when the artist was a mere 15 years old, as stated on a paper label on the back of the frame. For an item this old, in good condition apart from a streak of lighter colour paint along the top left side as well as a couple of spots where the paint has come off in the same area (see last pic), it can be hung as is, but will be magnificent restored. The frame which looks like it's original frame is showing it's age, again it can be used as is, but this lovely painting will look lovely re-framed.
