The classic tale by Daniel Defoe. Small format hardcover. 128 pages.
As novels were basically unheard of in 1719 when this tale was first published, most thought it
to be an autobiographical tale, of Defoe himself.
Identified as a 1958 edition by combining the title/author/format/illustrator/printer, this book
remains in a relatively good condition, for a 65+ year old edition.
Please refer to photographs: Half the spine-end cover has unhinged.
Foxing to inside front cover, yet the rest of the pages appear clean and bright. (One has blotches
from another source?).
One page (15) is beginning to loosen itself, but presently is still bound to the rest.
Previous owners inscription on front inside cover.
Beautifully illustrated.
A collectors piece, requires careful handling, a rare copy of this edition.
