The Roboguard 4 Beam Kit is engineered for medium-range perimeter applications where controlled, directional detection is required. Each Roboguard sensor tower contains dual passive infrared (PIR) detection chambers, vertically aligned to create a stacked detection field. This dual-chamber configuration significantly reduces false alarms by requiring simultaneous activation of both PIR zones before triggering an alert.
The system operates on a fully wireless architecture, using encrypted RF communication between the sensor towers and the Roboguard HQ or compatible control units. This eliminates the need for trenching, conduit, or external power infrastructure, making the 2Beam Kit ideal for rapid deployment on residential, commercial, and light-industrial sites.
Each sensor tower is built from UV-stabilised, weather-resistant polymer, ensuring long-term durability in harsh outdoor environments. The optical chambers are sealed against dust and moisture ingress, maintaining stable performance in rain, fog, and high-temperature conditions. The system is also pet-friendly, with the lower PIR chamber calibrated to ignore small animals while maintaining sensitivity to human-sized movement.
The 4 Beam Kit provides real-time intrusion alerts via the control unit, enabling immediate response to perimeter breaches. The modular design allows the system to be expanded with additional beams, repeaters, or integration into existing alarm infrastructure.
