Description

Joe Johnston directs this action adventure starring Bill Campbell and Jennifer Connelly. Set in Los Angeles in 1938, the film follows racing pilot Cliff Secord (Campbell) as he stumbles across a one-man jetpack that has been stashed by a gangster fleeing from the FBI. Using the jetpack to save a distressed plane, he becomes something of a superhero.

But there are others who want the futuristic machine, chief among them is duplicitous movie star Neville Sinclair (Timothy Dalton) who is in reality spying for the Nazis.
