Born in South Africa, Rodney graduated as an architect from the University of Natal and worked on many major projects throughout the country.
His interest in ceramics as a hobby became a fulltime occupation when the popularity of his work saw an increasing demand for his magnificent platters and vessels. His architectural background and his passion for South African culture is reflected in each individual piece.
Rodney creates deeply textured, sensual and motif-laden ceramic forms. Traditional tribal motifs and earthy colours are embedded in each exclusive piece.
He currently resides in Australia and exhibits at Art Galleries throughout the country.
