Roland V-Cymbal CY-16R-T Electronic Ride Cymbal

Part of the Roland VAD family of eDrums, the Roland CY-16R-T crash/ride is made 40% lighter than previous generations of V-Cymbals. Placed on a stand or mounted to your V-Rack, this advanced 16-inch V-Cymbal gives you a natural-feeling sway and stick response, from all-out rock bashing to delicate jazz timekeeping. The Roland CY-16R-T is compatible with all modern V-Drums modules* and supports 2-zone or 3-zone cymbal inputs. Its individual 1/4-inch outs give you accurate 2-zone triggering for crash (bow/edge) and ride (bow/bell) work. But bridge the outs into a current-gen V-Drums module like the TD-27, and the CY-16R-T greets you with advanced 3-zone triggering for authentic ride bell, bow, and edge regions. The CY-16-RT can even be choked and rolled at the edge to deliver a totally authentic translation from your acoustic kit to your V-Drums. The CY-16R-T's sensor system can be configured within the TD-27 V-Drums module* for use as a ride cymbal (bow/bell) or crash cymbal (bow/edge). Three-way triggering is supported via two cables with advanced V-Drums modules, providing independent sounds on the edge, bow, and bell. The cymbal can also be choked simply by grabbing the edgejust like a real acoustic cymbal.

*The CY-16R-T trigger parameter is only available in the TD-27 module at this time.
