Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air King Super Precision Model

This is a Mens Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air King Super Precision Model 5500 in what can only be described as good original condition, with a Hirsch water resistant leather strap. Serial No 1420414 dates this watch to 1960. The face and hands reflect the beauty of this old nicely worn watch showing its age elegantly. There are some light scratches on the original acrylic crystal
however this is consistent with its age and does not detract from the beauty of this watch.

Movement is perpetual self winding Case diameter 33mm. Today's equivalent Air King model would set you back R40 000 upwards but this has much more charm being a real 60's classic piece. This is a 100% genuine Rolex watch.This is one of the "hottest" vintage watches right now, due to the fact the new ROLEX line is much "busier" looking than these classic vintage ROLEX watches. A rare collectible.
