Appears to have been recased, retaining the original illustrated front board and the original illustrated spine band overlaid on the new spine. Original front board shows some edge wear and bruising at the corners. Owner's stamp to the front pastedown and signature to the half-title page. Pages xiii + 328. Five of the 12 indexed colour illustrations are missing. Foxing throughout.
