The lighter appears to be in working order, the mechanism is smooth and easy. There is some marking on the finish of the lighter. The lining in the interior of the case is badly marked, particularly at the bottom. The outside of the case is in very good condition. At the bottom of the case is impressed writing - I am unable to make out the first and second words but can see "Made in England" and what appears to be an "N" underneath that.
