Much used in the past to treat a variety of disorders. As time went by it became used specifically as a heart tonic, to aid ailing memory and to treat rheumatism and arthritis. Its action is gentle and gradual. As a hair rinse it makes hair shiny-healthy with a forest green scent and will help to clear persistent dandruff! Also makes an excellent houseplant in a sunny window. It produces small blue flowers and reaches a variable height from 45cm to 150cm and can be kept clipped. Great when used as a seasoning to meat and also when used as a tea.
