Serious show-stopper of a ring! The featured stone is a natural uncut 14mm x 9mm tanzanite. It has been used literally out of the ground! Please study the photographs carefully as need to see how different the stone looks in different lights. Against the skin it is quite dark. In the light it is a deep purple. The ring extends a full 22 mm up the finger and then continues in a single sheet of solid sterling silver down the shoulders and into the shank before reaching a wrap-around end point. The ring fits a size 9 but is adjustable. It is quite solid and rigid but it will accommodate a finger slightly bigger if necessary. The high polished sweep of sterling silver reflects the light and highlights the rich dark purple of the rough tanzanite gemstone beautifully, which sits 6mm high above the finger. It's a stunning and modern big ring - very much a conversation piece and perfect for someone who likes gemstones in their natural state!
The ring is hand-crafted and bears the hallmark 925 for sterling silver.
Tanzanite is a December birthstone, and is known to be of benefit to workaholics, and to those who are overworked, as it is thought to calm an overactive mind, to relax you and to slow you down!
