Excellent bright condition original oil on canvas board is 76 cm x 51 cm.

Since his death in 2000 Roy's work has continued to hold its value and even appreciate in a tough market. This is because of his undoubted technical skill and evocative use of paint by a professional. He is a cut above the conventional South African seascape painter and he seems to have specialised in scenes of the Natal Coast.
In May 2018 an identical sized painting to this one achieved a price of R5863 at top auctioneers Strauss in Cape Town.
Auction results at Sotheby's Stephan Welz have been over the R5000 mark on a number of occasions.
This is a an artist to watch whose work will appreciate in value.
