A rare novelty item for Royal Albert collectors! A porcelain money box in the form of a classic children's book, in this case "The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck" by Beatrix Potter. The front is printed with a picture from the original book, while the back features a different picture with a text. The top has an opening for coins, while the bottom has a removable plastic plug over the hole from where you can remove the coins. Clearly back stamped. The piece is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing -- even the original plastic plug is still intact and as new. The piece is about 13 cm high and 10.8 cm long. The width varies from 1.5 cm at the narrowest point (on the left) to 8.8 cm at the end.
Postage through SAPO is R45 or R100 with PostNet. Combinations are gladly done, in which case I will advise you of the amount to add for shipping. Please pay within 3 days of placing your order or else a SNC will be filed to allow me to relist the item. Do study the photos below as they form part of the description.
