Royal Albert trio in the stunning "Lady Carlyle" design. The cake plate, saucer and tea cup are all richly decorated with a deep pink pattern interspersed with cartouches containing roses, bluebells and forget-me-nots, with a a central posy. The sizes are standard for Royal Albert (see dimensions below) while the cup is in the ever-popular Malvern shape. The back stamp dates the manufacturing of this trio to the period 1950s-1970s when it was manufactured in England, unlike later examples which were made in Asia.
Condition: All three pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or grazing that I can detect. The gilding is perfect and the colours are bright. I suspect it has never been used.
Dimensions: The cup measures about 9 cm across the rim and stands about 6, 7 cm high. The saucer is 14 cm across and the cake plate 16 cm.
Postage: R55 insured parcel post with tracking number with SAPO, or else R100 with Postnet branch-to-branch.
